Born in Coquitlam B.C.(1976) Moved to
Whistler at age 20 to play in a rock band.
Worked in masonry construction to pay for
the rock band. Rock band broke up then
Billington started his own stone work
contracting business in 2002. Continued
building in Whistler for a few years then
decided to go to school for Bricklaying
construction to learn how to build a
masonry fireplace and do blockwork.
Completed Bricklaying apprenticeship with
Kwantlen College in 2005 and is a
government certified Red Seal Bricklayer.
Then after seeing all the leaky condos in
Vancouver, Billington decided to go into
night school and study Building Envelope
Sciences at B.C.I.T. (2006)
Since then Billington installs his masonry
work to the Highest government trained
standards, and also learned from Building
Envelope Sciences how to ensure
waterproof masonry work. Billington
Masonry has been in operation for over
11yrs, has been a Mason for 15 years :Full
